Sorya Mall on Street 51 has become a highly popular hangout for the night with jugs of beer starting at $2 and with loads of ladyboys and freelancer girls seeking new acquaintances until the crack of dawn.
Apparently the mall has seen a lot of private investment capital coming in from Europe and the Mideast, but not all ventures have turned out that great.
Very successful has been the Swiss bar which had launched as an early bird inside the Sorya mall complex in 2011. A 2 liter jug of draft beer was selling for $1,75 until later the price had gone up to $2,50.
